Find the fault. Prove it. Fix it once.
Free training for RV service techs, made by a working RV tech. Everything here is built on testing, not guessing: run the test, read the number, and prove the cause before a part gets ordered.
109 short lessons with drawings, 61 service calls with real meter readings, 8 interactive 3D wiring labs, 33 guided diagnoses and a fault code lookup. Free, no sign-up, works on a phone in the bay.
For RV service shops
Crewline shows a service manager which tech is ready for which system, from the lessons they finished and the service calls they proved. New hires place themselves in a few minutes and start where they are. Applicants take a skills test made of real service calls.
Courses
- Start here: Staying safe on a coach, then how to troubleshoot: the loop, your meter, and how to chase what only fails sometimes.
- 12V electrical: Voltage drop, batteries, fuses, converters, wiring and networked controls.
- 120V and generators: Shore power, GFCIs, inverters, generators and the faults that burn things up.
- Water and plumbing: Pumps, water heaters, toilets, tanks and winterizing.
- Propane and heat: LP pressure, furnaces, alarms, leak testing and gas appliances.
- Refrigerators: Absorption and compressor fridges, gas and electric modes, boards and cooling units.
- Air conditioning: Airflow first, then capacitors, controls and heat pumps.
- Slides and leveling: Six courses: slide-out fundamentals, then in-wall, electric through-frame, hydraulic and cable slides, and leveling systems.
- Roof, leaks and body: Finding leaks, sealing roofs, delamination, seals and roof vents.
- Chassis, towing and awnings: 7-pin, brakes, bearings, tires, hitch setup, awnings and steps.
- Shop workflow: Customers, photos, PDIs and the repair note that gets claims paid.
3D wiring labs
Put a virtual meter on the part, read the voltage and find the fault. Gas, water and refrigerant lines move when the system runs.
- Furnace: Suburban 12 V board
- Water heater: Suburban gas / electric, DSI
- Refrigerator: Dometic RM1350, LP and 120 V
- Rooftop AC: Coleman-Mach 15, 120 V, cool
- Hydraulic leveling: Lippert / Power Gear
- In-wall slide: Schwintek / Lippert
- Cable slide: BAL Exact-Slide (XACT)
- Generator: Onan / Cummins QG
